nBig Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids Sake

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio is a non-profit prevention-based agency that serves the community by providing quality mentoring relationships to children and youth in need of a friend.

Big Bothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio sponsors the Community-based program Project Mentor, which collaborates with businesses for volunteers to mentor students one hour a week who are in need of an adult role model. The program is designed to help increase the Columbus City School system's high school graduation rate from 72.9% in 2006 to 90% or higher by 2012.

The WINUP Ohio Chapter was a proud sponsor of the Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids Sake 2009 fundraising event on Saturday, February 7, 2009.

Dress For Success Columbus: Suits to Self-Sufficiency

Dress For Success Worldwide is an international non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of women located in 78 cities across the U.S., Canada, the U.K. and New Zealand. The professional clothing, employment retention programs and ongoing support that is provided to women in transition with a limited budget and re-entering the workforce, symbolizes their faith in every women's ability to be self-sufficient and successful in their career.
They offer a dressing program...free of charge to every women they serve, a career center, and a professional women's group. In 2008, the WiNUP Ohio chapter donated more than 1200 items to the agency, suiting more than 250 women.

¨This organization was founded in 2001 and is a public foundation that makes grants to programs that promise social change for women and girls.
¨The Ohio chapter has been contributing $250 to this organization annually.
